Where creativity takes center stage.
Pavilion Plays is a creative home for your child. A place where they join the story, build real confidence and find their people. Come once, and you will not leave the same.
Not every kid is a sports kid. Every kid still needs somewhere to belong.
There are plenty of sports. There is plenty of advice to get kids off screens and onto a field. But sports isn’t the answer for everyone, and they end up stuck at home. They still need a creative outlet. They still need people to connect with, especially now that school gives them less of that than it used to.
That is the gap Pavilion Plays fills.

What your child gains…
More than a class. A place to grow.
A Real Creative Outlet
For the kids who never found their thing in sports. A place to make, play and imagine, whether or not they are the most talented in the room.
Genuine Connection
Children build real friendships and belong to something together. The kind of connection they do not always get at school anymore.
Confidence and Real Skill
Skills that serve them anywhere they go. On a stage, or simply in any job where they have to stand up and talk to people.
Truly Included
Everybody is needed here. Your child does not have to be a certain thing, or already be good at anything, to come and take part.
The transformation
Your child learns that what they see is needed.
The change I see most is a child realizing their perspective on the world is not weird, and not wrong. It is needed.
Tanya Quinn, Founder
Before
Holds back, and waits to be picked.
Feels too much, or too different.
Stuck at home with nowhere that fits.
Sure their own ideas are wrong.
After Pavilion Plays
Willing to try, and to be seen.
Knows their perspective is needed.
Part of something, with their people.
Creating at home, not just on our stage.
Why Pavilion Plays
We focus on your child, not the product.
When a child feels the focus is truly on them, they give far more than fear or pressure could ever get. We meet each child where they are, give them solid ground to learn, and that is what lets them grow. We would rather hand you a confident thirty-minute show, where every child shines, than an expensive production that used them up.
A pavilion is protective, but open. Safe enough to take a real risk. Open enough to grow.
Tanya Quinn sees what you see in your child.
Everybody has a perspective that is needed in the world. My job is to help your child find theirs.
Tanya is a performer, teacher and director, an improviser and a PBS partner, and the founder of Pavilion Plays. She has spent her career helping young people discover what they have to offer.
She sees the creative, divergent kids that schools too often call trouble, and she sees the very potential their parents see at home. When your child is with Tanya, they are known, and they are in caring, capable hands.
