A Christmas Carol | Ages 6–12

Homeschool theater meets Christmas magic!

Homeschool Theatre Lab is a daytime theater enrichment class for students ages 6–12 in Clayton and Johnston County, NC. This fall, students will learn acting, character development, movement, storytelling, public speaking, and teamwork while working together to bring the classic Christmas story A Christmas Carol to the stage.

Learn Theater by Doing Theater

Students will develop their skills through:

• 🎭 Acting and character development

• 🎲 Theater games and improvisation

• 🎄 Christmas-themed storytelling

• 💃 Creative movement and stage presence

• 🎤 Public speaking and presentation

• 🤝 Teamwork and ensemble collaboration

Rather than simply learning about theater, students will learn by doing. Each week, they'll build confidence, explore characters, rehearse scenes, and discover how individual performances come together to create a complete production.

Bring a Christmas Classic to Life

Students will work together throughout the semester to produce A Christmas Carol, culminating in a special showcase performance for family and friends.

Whether your child is an experienced performer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, Theatre Lab provides a fun, encouraging environment where every student can learn, contribute, and grow.
